They have an apartment you like and are eager to pass this beautiful place. Wait! Before you sign the lease with the owner, you need a review, and could save a lot of problems. If you have already signed the lease, it will be even more helpful to carefully inspect the apartment, if you have not already done so. If you find a problem, you must let the landlord know and get problems fixed.
Following is a checklist for apartment inspection.
1. CheckInput: If the door seal properly? If the lock operation?
2. Control plans: Any stain or stuff on the floor? The carpets are clean?
3. Check the ceilings and walls: All the dents, cracks or holes? It is the wallpaper in good condition? Paint on the wall in good condition?
4. Check power and lighting: All the lights work? Took work? Air conditioning works well? Ceiling fan working well? Telephone connection in every room? There is a cable connection?
5.Check the kitchen: faucets leaking? Water pressure good? All devices are working and clean? Refrigerator looking good and not too strong? Dishwasher good job? Gas / electric stove good? Microwave working?
6. Check the bathroom faucets leaking? Hot water in the shower? Toilet working fine?
Water pressure good?
7. Security Check: Windows in good condition and safe? Intercom problem? Locks on all doors working? Smoke and carbon monoxideWork? Taking risks?
If you have found problems with the apartment, write and show the landlord a copy (for themselves) themselves. Make sure that the problems fixed before you move
